Bettina Meister is among the 50 percent of the best photographers worldwide in the WorldPressPhoto Contest 2023.
I am very grateful for this award in one of the best, biggest and international photo competitions.
The jury of the WorldPressPhoto Contest 2023 writes:
"We would like to thank you for your participation in the 2023 contest and to inform you that your entry has passed the first round, placing it in the top 50% of all entries.
The regional and global juries had the extremely difficult task of selecting the winners - 3,752 photographers from 127 countries submitted 60,448 images and photo stories - and you can be proud that the regional jury has selected your work for the next round."
I am very happy to be among the 50 percent of the world's best photographers. Thank you! I submitted the series Serie Begegnung - Fischer auf Elba (Encounter - Fishermen on Elba), with which I was already presented in the Nieser Gallery, the series Serie Lagerung von Carrara-Marmor (Storage of Carrara Marble) as well as two pictures Strand von Agadir (beach of Agadir) and two concert pictures (Jamie Cullum and Ramón Valle).
