WorldPressPhoto Contest 2024
Bettina Meister is 2024 the second year in a row among the 50 percent of the best photographers worldwide in the WorldPressPhoto Contest.
This is the second year that I am very grateful for this award in one of the best, biggest and international photo competitions.
The jury of the WorldPressPhoto Contest 2024 writes:
"Whilst you will see that your entry was not among those awarded this year, we want to say a huge thank you for your participation in the contest and let you know that your submission passed the first round, making it amongst the top 50% of all entries.
The jury had the extremely difficult task of choosing the winners – 3,851 photographers from 130 countries entered 61,062 images and open format entries – and you can be proud that the regional jury selected your work to progress to the next round.
We wish you the best of luck with your work this year and look forward to receiving your submission when the 2025 Contest opens for entries in December!

I am very happy to be among the 50 percent of the world's best photographers. Thank you! I submitted this year from Germany the series Heilsarmee and some series from morocco: Pottery handcraft and Jewelery makers, carpet handcraft, garden workers, nomades and home.
